Jessica Anger is not just the cohost of the podcast Parent Coaches Unleashed and Certified Parent Coach, but a compassionate ally in the challenging, and transformative journey of parenthood. Drawing upon her extensive background in education and her role as a devoted stay-at-home mom to three wonderful children, Jessica has honed her skills as a great listener and a master of thought-provoking questions to help parents navigate the intricate pathways of raising children with understanding, empathy, and connection.
With a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Special Education and years of experience as a dedicated teacher, Jessica cultivated a deep appreciation for learning dynamics, individual growth, and effective communication. Her teaching career allowed her to shape young minds and build strong relationships with students and their families. As life unfolded, Jessica embraced another invaluable chapter—motherhood. Stepping away from the classroom, she devoted herself to nurturing her own family of five, where she encountered firsthand the challenges and wonders of parenting.
Her years of teaching, combined with her personal experiences, ignited a desire to support other parents on their unique parenting journeys. Eager to offer her skills and insights beyond her home, Jessica embarked on the path to becoming a Certified Parent Coach.
Through her coaching practice, Jessica has witnessed the transformative power of self-discovery and connection. She believes that every parent possesses the potential to forge strong bonds with their children, fostering environments of trust and mutual respect. Jessica's coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that parents are the experts of their own families, and her role is to guide them in unlocking their inner strengths and wisdom.
Eventually, Jessica’s goal was to reach an even larger audience and began her parenting podcast with cohost, partner, and friend, Carrie Wiesenfeld. The podcast main theme is to discuss any and all topics with the main purpose of letting parents know they are not alone on their parenting journey.
Jessica lives in Parkland, FL with her husband, three children and 2 Boxers. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and is slowly starting to embrace the pickleball craze! Mostly she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica is available for one-on-one coaching, parent workshops, and speaking engagements.
Carrie Wiesenfeld is a former Human Resources professional who reinvented herself at the beginning of her empty nesting phase as a Certified Life Coach. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
After launching a life coaching practice for young adults, Carrie soon realized that there was a void of support for parents of young adults as they navigated their new role shifting from parent to consultant. If our goal is to raise independent adults, then we can no longer parent the way that we have been for the past 18 years. A few parents intuitively know how to do this, but most of us do not. Carrie will help support you through this process as she knows firsthand how uncomfortable making this shift can be.
Carrie is currently the co-host of the podcast Parent Coaches Unleashed and owner of Soaring Hawk Life Coaching. She lives part time in both South Florida and Park City, Utah enjoying hiking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
Along with her husband and two young adult sons, Carrie’s family values incorporate community service and volunteerism. They spend time annually supporting organizations: LifeNet4Families, Safe Schools for Alex, Orange Ribbons for Jaime, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Carrie’s core values: Kind, Compassionate, Authentic, Dedicated, Open Minded, Trusted, Supportive, Collaborative and Responsible
